Using the CTP plate making system to replace the traditional PS plate making system itself is our current green An environmental protection measure in printing . However, in the CTP plate making system, there are actually some more green environmental protection measures to be done. For example, the printing plate adopts chemical-free CTP plate material; the developing solution of the CTP plate processor is regularly monitored to reduce the generation of waste plates; the water in the developer and water washing system of the CTP plate processor is filtered, purified, and circulated. The following describes the transformation method of the water flushing device of CTP plate-making machine of our company. After the transformation, not only can the water be recycled, the water consumption is saved, and the quality of the CTP plate is improved.
Our company currently uses Gulongyan's CTP plate processor, and its water rinse cycle device is shown in Figure 1.

statement of problem

When using the original equipment, the biggest problem is the waste of water and the deterioration of the quality of the CTP version. The water storage tank of the equipment has a volume of about 1.45 meters × 0.35 meters × 0.1 meters ≈ 0.05 cubic meters, and can store 50 liters of washing water, which can be recycled for a long time under ideal conditions. However, since the dust and debris generated by the thermal CTP plate after laser exposure will be partially brought to the water tank after development, the water will become dirty and dirty, and the whole water circulation path will be caused for a long time (about 2 weeks). The motor) is fouled. At this time, it will be found that the CTP plate is still dirty after washing. After the glue is dried, the chips will stick to the plate, which directly affects the quality of the plate. Sometimes it can be wiped off with water or developer. Sometimes it can't be wiped off. If you don't check it out and print the printing press on the printing plate, printing dirty will be inevitable. Some non-graphic parts can be repaired with a revision pen. However, when the dirt is encountered in the graphic part, it can only be re-published, which increases the cost and increases the printing production cycle. Therefore, it is necessary to change the water frequently. Finally, we need to change the water once a day, so that the monthly water consumption is 0.05 cubic meters per day × 30 days = 1.5 cubic meters, that is, 1.5 tons of water. However, the quality problem has not been completely solved, and sometimes the problem of dirty on the CTP version will occur.

Solved path

In order to achieve green printing and improve the quality of the CTP plate, we have partially modified the water washing system of the platen machine, added a water tank to the water-washing circulation line, installed two plate filters in the water tank, and made the original simple. The filter was upgraded to a professional liquid filter, and the modified device is shown in Figure 2.

The modified water rinsing cycle device takes the dust and debris generated by the CTP plate after laser exposure to the sedimentation tank of the external water tank through the return water. After the two-stage sedimentation filtration, the water quality is basically clean, which satisfies the requirements of the CTP plate quality. And the smooth flow path, do not have to worry about the clastic sticking to the layout, and at the same time achieve the purpose of environmental protection. The water tank circulation device has an increased water tank volume of 1.2 m × 0.6 m × 0.6 m = 0.432 m3, and the maximum water storage capacity is 432 liters. At present, we change the water once a month, and the water consumption is greatly reduced, which is only 28.8%.
Figure 3 is an actual photo of the added water tank, which makes full use of the spacing between the plate processor and the wall. It is designed for our company. The materials used are re-purchased except for the plastic plate. The material, the cost is very low, fully reflects the idea of ​​green environmental protection.

In the future, we will gradually improve the water rinse cycle device and increase its automation to better achieve green printing.
